As a Senior Patient Services Specialist (Advanced Imaging) with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
- Coordinates work activities within a department including organizing work schedules and assigning specific duties.
- Distributes and monitors work activities.
- Co-ordinates, implements and ensures staffing levels are appropriately maintained to sufficiently support daily operational needs including extended hours, lunch periods, holiday weeks and extended absences.
- Ensures department weekly hours are monitored, adjusted as needed, and controlled to ensure overtime abuse does not occur.
- Approves/denies teams’ PTO requests in a timely manner.
- Provides guidance and motivation to team members.
- Participates in training team members and acts as a training resource for the department.
- Ensures new hires are successfully oriented to department and organization.
- Regularly liaises with management to include:
- Scheduling conflicts, attendance, punctuality and absence, concerns, inter-department conflict concerns
- Department to department issues
- Training concerns
- Provides ongoing feedback to management regarding team.
- Acts as initial point of contact for team for:
- Unscheduled absences
- Conflict within team of Conflict with team and other department(s)
- Works with other department leads.
- Ensures departmental goals are consistently met.
- Assists in facility management including care and maintenance of equipment.
- Attends meetings and participates in committees as required.
- Participates in professional development activities.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
- Performs related work as required.

- Knowledge of overall office operations.

- Must be able to travel to Advanced Imaging sites (ARC, NG, SG,).
- Must be back up to Checking in, Scheduling, Benefits, Authorizations.
