As an Advanced Imaging Patient Services Specialist with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
- Check in patients.
- Schedule appointments correctly and accurately pursuant to provider scheduling protocols.
- Schedule appointments for CT and MRIs.
- Go through CT/MRI reports to make sure the Radiologist reads them.
- Interact with patients, family members, visitors, and members of the health care team; directs patient questions and/or complaints to appropriate department; keeps patients informed; maintain efficient patient flow during the check-in and check-out process; check in outside vendors.
- Schedule patients for follow-up office visits or procedures, log no-show appointments; assists in Document Management scanning and chart Indexing.
- Maintain and organize lobby area at the end of the day, opening and closing duties.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be Flexible to Saturdays if needed.
- Must be flexible to travel to our other sites (Phoenix and Gilbert)
- Availability: Monday through Thursday 7:00 - 7:00 / Friday’s 7:00 - 5:30 / Saturday’s 7:00 - 3:00 at NG and SG.
- Medical front desk experience (1-2 years preferred)
