If you are a Pre-Med, Pre-PA, or Pre-Nursing candidate eager to gain firsthand experience in patient care, this position will enable you to acquire knowledge about various orthopedic diagnostics, laboratory results, and treatment modalities while deepening your understanding of diverse orthopedic conditions, their presentations, and management approaches. 
 
What to Expect  
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour

As a Medical Scribe at OrthoArizona, you’ll get to: 
  • Accompany orthopedic surgeons in the exam room to document patient visits. 
  • Type detailed notes, including History of Present Illness (HPI), physical examinations, imaging dictations, assessments, and treatment plans. 
  • Input diagnosis codes and office visit orders. 
  • Receive a letter of recommendation attesting to your dedication and skills for your future career and educational pursuits. 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma 
  • Fast and accurate typing skills 
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
