As an Advanced Imaging Manager with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the diagnostic and advanced imaging department aligned with the goals and objectives of OrthoArizona.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the diagnostic and advanced imaging department, ensuring efficient workflow, timely scheduling, and accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
  • Staff Leadership: Interview, train, and supervise a team of skilled radiologists, technologists, and support staff. Foster a positive work environment, promote professional development, and ensure optimal team performance.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control programs to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging services, compliance with regulatory standards, and adherence to best practices.
  • Equipment and Technology: Evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of advanced imaging equipment and technologies to support optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication, coordination, and integration of diagnostic imaging services within the patient care continuum.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the department budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize resource utilization and financial performance.
  • Patient Experience: Continuously assess and improve the patient experience related to diagnostic imaging services, ensuring efficient and compassionate care, timely communication of results, and patient satisfaction.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to diagnostic imaging, radiation safety, privacy, and healthcare information management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist or related imaging specialty.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an orthopedic or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging modalities and technologies, including X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and developing a team of imaging professionals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and patient safety.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft.
