As a Director of InstantOrtho with OrthoArizona, you will get to: 
 
Business Development 
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to improve the services provided.  
  • Participates in the development and planning of InstantOrtho key objectives, and strategic goals. 
  • Assess clinic operations for opportunities that will increase efficiency, volume, and value to referring physicians and patients. 
  • Serve as a spokesperson for InstantOrtho and maintain relationships with physicians and other providers in the greater community. 
Operations & Staff Management 
  • Supervise and direct all medical treatment activities and recommend changes to better utilize facilities, services, and staff. 
  • Ensure staff is up to date on changes in all clinical, employee, and business practices and policies. 
  • Conduct clinical staff appraisals, set individual improvement goals and develop training plans together with clinical staff to achieve targeted goals. 
  • Monitor budget and coordinate clinical activities with operations, billing, and financial management. 
  • Develop, implement and revise policies, procedures and protocols affecting medical practice and quality of care.  
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures including the proper usage of EMR, billing and administrative systems. 
Service Excellence 
  • Bings a servant leadership approach to both clinical and non-clinical staff members. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding that patient needs must be consistently met and their expectations exceeded. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree related to the healthcare or business field. 
  • Healthcare background required; clinical license preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of Urgent Care experience in a supervisory capacity or lead position. 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing different business units and/or in retail medicine and ambulatory practice. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Organized with good attention to detail. 
  • Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of principles of healthcare and personnel management, including experience in the operations and management of urgent care centers. 
  • High concentration and high complexity of decision making. 
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Master’s degree in management or business preferred. 
  •  Experience with obtaining/maintaining accreditations; knowledge of Urgent Care Association accreditation preferred.
