A premiere North Phoenix/Scottsdale Orthopedic group is looking for a Full-Time experienced Orthopedic DME Coordinator to join our team.Prior DME experience is REQUIRED, orthopedic experience preferred. We'd like the candidates to be detail-oriented, able to multi task, proficient with computers, team player, professional, self-starter and outgoing. The ideal candidate will have a great personality and great customer services skills to assist in our growing practice. State of the art facility with x-ray, PT, OT, and DME onsite. Our practice sees a diverse population, you will be caring for young, old, sports medicine, and other chronic conditions. Easy freeway access to locations and a great community.

FT position Monday - Friday 

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Serves as the coordinator of OrthoArizona - Arizona Bone & Joint DME program, as well as a prior authorization specialist for injectables.

Responsible for DME inventory management,through knowledge of DME product library.

Proper dispensing of DME products.

Able to answer physician and patients questions with regards to DME products. 

Ensures that appropriate par levels are maintained for all products, while ensuring that significant excess stock is not present.

Work with billing department to ensure prior-authorization of DME and Injection products.

Educates patients regarding pricing and insurance coverage for products.

Works closely with providers to ensure that treatment plans are met.

Meets with vendors, as appropriate, to assist providers in demonstrating new products.

Assists in developing and revising DME policies and procedures.

Trouble-shoots all processes related to DME.

Keeps the Clinical Manager and Practice Administrator informed of issues and concerns related to DME program.

Skills/ Requirements

Experience with fitting and dispensing durable medical equipment (DME) preferred

Clinical office experience preferred

Prior use of EMR and PMS preferred
