Clinic Supervisor

As a Clinic Supervisor with OrthoArizona, you will get to: 
  • Responsible for Day-to-day management and of both front and back-office functions to ensure effective clinical operations while ensuring compliance with all practice policies, MIPS, BPCI or other value-based initiatives, and customer service standards. 
  • Act as primary on training of new hires on clinical policies and procedures, patient care standards, including cross training of all staff.
  • Assists Clinic Manager with proper clinical staffing schedules and find coverage when necessary for all provider teams. 
  • Review, correct, and approve all direct report’s PTO/PST, and timecards inline with the payroll calendar and policy. 
  • Perform regular 1:1s with clinic staff, provide coaching, feedback, performance reviews as necessary. 
  • Assist clinic manager on documentation for disciplinary action or performance related concerns. 
  • Partner and regular communicate with other department heads to ensure consistencies in shared duties: ie, Billing, Administrative centers, DME, etc.  
  • Ensure patient care standards and workflows are completed according to company policy and procedure. 
  • Be the primary point of contact for any patient escalations or complaints. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert on practice management and EMR software, assist with necessary trainings surrounding said software. 
  • All other duties assigned. 
Qualifications: 
  • Medical industry knowledge including medical terminology, insurance terms, etc. 
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and technologies within a medical office setting 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • Maintains CPR certification. 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Prior experience in back-office position. 
  • Staff supervision experience
