As a Physical Therapist with OrthoArizona, you will get to:     
  • Maintain a patient treatment schedule consistent with the needs of the department. 
  • Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Reviews pertinent patient records. Records all findings. 
  • Interpret and integrate data to determine and implement appropriate modalities, therapeutic procedures and splinting needed. Develop and implement exercise and home programs as indicated. 
  • Instruct patients and family regarding rehabilitation. Provide patient education. Assessment and necessary communication regarding activities and injury prevention. 
  • Document daily treatment notes in a timely manner. 
  • Record treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Provide monitoring between physician or PA visits. 
  • Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations. 
  • Ensure therapy equipment is in proper working order. 
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Physical Therapy Techs, Trainers and Aides. 
  • Assist in training and orienting of new therapy staff. 
  • All other duties assigned. 
Qualifications: 
  • Working knowledge of computer programs. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Understand/Perform training on practice management software. 
  • Continue to expand knowledge of electronic medical record software as updates occur. 
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures. 
Minimum Qualifications: 
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program. 
  • Passed National Physical Therapy Examination.  
  • Maintain Arizona State License. 
  • Maintain CPR certification.
